The run-time system is a collection of seven files that the MeggieSoft Games programs must have in order to work correctly after installation.   These run-time files are originally provided by Microsoft.

According to Microsoft, any computer capable of performing an Internet download already has all of the required files except for msvbvm60.dll.  Therefore msvbvm60.dll is included in the "Base Versions" installations.

The other six files (stdole2.tlb, oleaut32.dll, olepro32.dll, comcat.dll, asycfilt.dll,  and ctl3d32.dll) will be required in order to run the MeggieSoft Games on any computer not capable of performing an internet download (unless it already has them installed from another source).  The circumstances where this download is necessary are rare.
